Hello, My name is alex. Over the past year or so i have been reading a lot about organic gardening/farming. I have taken an extreme interest in becoming proactive in the "Organic Movement". I have a few ideas and would like to put them out on the forum to get some feedback. So, one of my ideas is to build a green house in my basement, and ideally, have the ability to farm my own produce. Realistically i know i cant grow everything i need for a years worth of food, but i would like to try. And, i think this idea if refined to a defined standard would be a viable means to reduce the cost of organic food. The reason i want to do the greenhouse in the basement, is so the Greenhouse would share the heating and cooling expense. Like i said i am new to the organic lifestyle and would like any information on how viable this practice could be.
one love!
Alex

Hi Alex.
A good way to start is with liquid organic fertilizer, liquid lime, liquid sulfate of potash, and liquid bonemeal. Here is an organic garden guide to get you started http://www.aggrand.c....pdf?zo=1181889 . Let me know if you need more information.
